Swords of Coins

Q: I would like to know the purpose of the sword which is made up of ancients coins with the holes in the center dated in the time of "chien Loong". This sword is tied in red strings. I used to hang one at near my front entrance until someone told me that it is no good to do that. I wonder what's the reason.

The ancient coins `tied together' to represent a `symbolic' sword should not be placed at the entrance especially one where it faces the main entrance door. This is bad feng shui.

This situation is also very similar to someone hanging a painting of a hungry animal e.g. a tiger. This is symbolic of it's mouth being `open' and will cause problems for the household. Similarly, one should NEVER hang a pakua in the house as it is equally bad.

As the sword represents a `cutting' edge, it is suppose to `cut' away all your luck and bad.
