Dear Julie,
An `L' shaped house can be divided into two rectangles and the centrepoint of each can be determined. But some find it rather `confusing' having to deal with two rectangles and its centrepoint.
An alternative method is to make a copy of the layout plan. Next, paste it on to a cardboard. And cut the outline of the cardboard and with a nail, find the centre of gravity.
Alternatively, you can draw an outline and upload as a .bmp ; .jpg or .gif file to this forum for me to assist you.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
