Dear Lawrence,
If I understand correctly, your bathroom door is quite a distance from your bedroom (but directly facing each other).
This is secondary, and in my opinion, you could (if you can) close your bedroom door instead.
1. Usually, the impact is greater if the toilet is part of the bedroom.
2. If the toilet bowl is not visible from the toilet door, this even much better.
Overall, I would not be too overly concerned in your situation.
