Dear Kaushal,
1. Under Feng Shui, this is considered inauspicious as `beneifical' Qi is
suppose to come into the house and meander slowly circulating inside the
house and `exit' the home through other openings.
2. Where possible, it should not enter the house e.g. the main entrance and
exit out through an opposite window. Here, Qi is not allowed to circulate in
the home.
3. The best option is to place a screen close to the main door area to allow
the Qi to meander into the house. The screen need not necessarily be of full
height. It can be of a lower height where possible it can cover e.g.
three-quarters of the door.
4. Another alternative is to close the window which is facing the main
entrance door or install a blind or curtains (closing that window).
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
