Dear Elizabeth,
As a guideline:-
1. The aquarium, most not be placed at the centre-point of the house.
2. Preferable that it should not be placed in the dining room.
As you mentioned, it is acceptable to place the aquarium in the family room
and on the `surface' it looks a sensible location to be placed.
Where possible, if your house has an `L' shape configuration, symbolically,
or through use of partition to `change' it to a square or rectangle shaped.
This configuration is still the best.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

e-mail. We have picked a lot that was facing west. We are trying to decide
which part of the house should we put the aquarium.
> The dining room is located at the south east side of the house. On the
north east side is the family room with a fireplace on the north east corner
of the family room. In between the family room and the dining room is a
breakfast nook and the kitchen, which is right next to the dining room. The
family room and breakfast nook is divided by a half wall. I am planing to
put the aquarium on top of this half wall which is about 3 to 4 feet high.
Is this a good place for it?

User's Comments I am currently planning to purchase a resale HDB, and chanced upon your website for feng shui advice. I must say, you guys have done a FANTASTIC job! Its comprehensive, not too difficult for a newcomer to understand, and certainly, it did help me in determining the stuff I should look out for when buying a flat! I am now considering to get the self help, full audit or on-site package.... how would I know which is more suitable for me? - Tan Tuesday, 15 July 2003 |
