Dear Steven,
For a clear glass or see thru glass, such as those in modern shopping units, can be threatened by a `poison' arrow from a distance.
Frosted glass or opaque film, would do the `trick'. Here, if one cannot see, it no longer becomes a threat is `half-true' i.e. half-solved.
The treat has still to be neutralised outside the building to take effect.
