Dear Cecil and Robert,
My bed is placed in such a way that when I sleep, my head is pointing to my death direction (SE).
Based on the 8 house chart provided by you, I would like to sleep with my head pointing to the excellent direction (NE) or the prosperity direction (SW). However, if I sleep this way, I will not have solid support of the wall behind me.
Which is more important, to have solid support of the wall or to tap into my auspicious direction.
My bed is facing the entrance of the attached bathroom (this is not the toilet door). It also faces the mirror in the bathroom. There is no solid door at the entrance now. I am considering the following 3 ways so that my wife and I don't see the mirror when we sleep.
1) hang a curtain on the entrance
2) install a solid wood door
3) place a screen at the entrance
Which will be the best way to do this?
Thanks.
Randy

User's Comments After browsing many many feng shui sites, I came to one conclusion: your site is the most sensible, reasonable and helpful one of all. I've been to sites where they want to sell you just about anything and everything. The information they are willing to give is so trivial and one senses that the only thing they are interested in is to make money and sell you products that might and might not fit in with your decor or your culture, and of course doesn't serve the purpose of curing and or enhancing. Sorry for the long message, but I have a friend who spent a fortune buying all types of figurines to cure then to enhance and then eventually all she got was more figures on her credit card and no luck! I believe that what one should do is get your advise first because it makes so much sense and it is always sincere. I also believe that people should buy things that pleases their eye and provide a sense of beauty and balance. Again sorry for the long message and thank you for a wonderful site.
